Welcome to KevinRowley.com!
Kevin is a professional triathlete from Orlando, FL, USA. He took a two year break from the sport and his focus for the 2007 season will be on re-qualifying for his elite license by mid summer and then racing in some pro races. To re-qualify for his elite license, he must place in the top 8 overall in 3 USAT sanctioned triathlons with 500 competitors or more. Once re-qualified he will compete in ITU(International Triathlon Union) Olympic distance format racing to earn points toward his world ranking. ITU racing is draft legal and the olympic distances are 1.5k swim-40k bike-10k run. (aprox. 1 mile swim-25 mile bike-6 mile run)
This website is designed to inform sponsors and friends of his progress and there will be updates throughout his season. Feel free to contact Kevin and thanks for stopping by.
***I just returned from beautiful Sand Key Park in Clearwater, FL where the Morton Plant Mease Triathlon took place. Top competition showed up including Marc Bonnet-Eymard (Amateur National and World Champion in 2006) and also Spencer Smith (Former ITU World Champion). I managed to place 4th overall and that should be good enough for me to get my elite license since the race had close to 700 finishers. Full Update Here.
Thanks to Cycle Spectrum Orlando for setting me up on my ride!
